The End of the A’s?
My exhibition certainly added some colour and interest to February. Big thanks to everyone who visited and are now spotting A’s everywhere. It was great fun to put on rekindling my love for typography and absorbing myself in the abstract nature of the letterforms.
As a response to the year long photographic study I produced a series of watercolours. I worked in simple single colours and played with the shapes allowing the pigment and water to evolve and bleed much like some of the letters I found outside; some becoming indiscernible as nature seemed to take them over.
