On the Edges – Scenes of the Somerset Coast at The Wall at Musgrove Hospital Taunton

I’m pleased to annouce the opening of my solo show On the Edges – Scenes of the Somerset Coast at The Wall at Musgrove Hospital Taunton. Art for Life is an organisation I’ve had a long standing relationship with. I showed my cow paintings with them in 2006. The current exhibition includes iPad art digital prints on acrylic glass and original paintings in acrylic paint on canvas. Its a colourful display in a busy well used part of the hospital and I hope lots of people will enjoy it over the three months that it is there.

I’m also running workshops with staff and volunteers at the hospital exploring fun ways to make creative work using their iPads.

Thinking Inside the Box – Hatch Spring 2025

Running for three weekends starting this Saturday 15 March is our annual Spring exhibition at our secret barn on the Somerset Levels.

This year is the first year of it being an open exhibition, so as well as the core group of Hatch artists we have selected some new exciting artists to join us. We will be showing work on the theme of ‘Thinking inside the Box’, the only constraint is that the piece must fit inside a metre squared and be suspended from the ceiling. There will be a variety of approaches from photographic to film to sculpture from static to kinetic to interactive. Its FREE to visit but visitors must book their visit time to help the venue manage the numbers as parking is limited.

Its an intriguing venue so if you want an unusual gallery visit this is one you shouldn’t miss. More info and booking at https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/hatch
