Combwich Art Group

Had a blast of charcoal drawing with Combwich Art Group this Monday. We got the giant paper out and had a great time drawing in response to music. We tried lots of different techniques and even had charcoal sticks on the ends of sticks for that extra challenge. Everyone got into the flow and were surprised with what they created. Hopefully it’s the start of something new for the Art group, there is certainly lots of talent and creativity there. Can’t wait to see what they are inspired to create in future sessions. One to One Tuition

Did you know I also teach individuals? Michelle has been coming to me for several years now, we started off with iPad art lessons over Zoom and now we are tackling big projects with good old messy charcoal. This week Michelle learnt how to draw a freeform abstract piece in response to music and then redrew it huge on the wall, it was bigger than her! Homework involved photographing the piece and carrying on with it at home on her iPad. Michelle had never worked big before and was thrilled with the results.
