House of Hatch Fashion Show

Its my third year now of taking part in the House of Hatch Wearable Art Fashion Show.

We’ve had the ‘Last Party on Earth’ in 2023 ‘Void’ in 2024 and this year’s theme is ‘Future Folklore’. I’ve been ‘The Stolford Weather Report’, ‘Gaia’ and this year I’m going to be ‘Charcoal’ an angry and frustrated Fire Sprite.

My costumes link into the work I’m exploring at the moment. My current passion for charcoal drawing and making being the inspiration for this crazy character.

Our first performance got the audience enthralled at the secret Hatch Barn. We all really love performing there as its such a filmatic backdrop.

Our next performance is this Saturday at East Quay Watchet but we will be making a day of it. We will be running FREE kids workshops making banner, flags, cloaks and hats, there will be live music and you can buy refreshments from the fabulous kitchen.
